My carpets and rugs are tapestries with figurative scenes. Repetitive structures and serial patterns are formed by repeats and interweavings. Spaces and perspectives emerge, composed with graphic precision, with clear floor plans, complexity and rhythm. While at first one perceives the patterns, on closer inspection people can be recognized, in different life situations, interconnected, interwoven.
