it's all about women

Women - all over the world they fight, try to fly, stumble, endure, are oppressed, mistreated, have to assert themselves against all odds.

Looking at world political issues, women and their different fates quickly come into focus. All over the world women are maintaining necessary structures in small or large scale despite difficult life situations or they even courageously oppose oppression and enemies, even if they know that this could end badly for them. For this photo project, I have treated the subject from an overarching perspective, in which all these aspects are united and present at the same time in a global and minimalist way.
